Ray Clark leads the corporate valuation and litigation services practice for VALCOR. He possesses twenty-five years of professional experience in corporate finance with significant investment banking, business valuation, corporate restructuring, litigation support and damages analysis expertise across a variety of industries and asset classes. Ray began his professional career with J.G. Boswell Company (BWEL), which is America’s largest producer of cotton. While there, he held various positions in accounting, including responsibility for management of the company’s extensive fixed asset portfolio and capital budgeting projects. From there, Ray became a securities analyst for The Seidler Companies in Los Angeles (now, Seidler Equity Partners), where he was in charge of reorganized securities research, including distressed assets and debt. Next, Ray went to work for the Shaw Group, a private equity group in San Francisco, where he was part of a team that managed a portfolio of 12 biomedical companies before moving on to lead research for a distressed securities hedge fund. In all, Ray has managed a wide variety of
transactions and assignments and he holds several professional
designations for the practice of financial and business
analysis and valuation. He has been directly involved in
over 100 transactions worth approximately $2.5 billion in
value, has performed over 1,000 formal business valuation
engagements as an analyst, many involving complex capital
structures, financially troubled companies and real property
assets, and he has testified as an expert in numerous cases at
the State and Federal level, including Chapter 11. In
addition, he taught nationally advanced business valuation
courses for the National Association of Certified Valuation
Analysts (NACVA) for over seven (7) years. Mr. Clark graduated from University of Southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Business Economics. In addition, Mr. Clark holds three advanced designations in the field of business analysis and valuation including:

professional associations including the CFA Institute, the Los
Angeles Society of Financial Analysts and the American Society
of Appraisers.
